India is blessed with rich solar energy and if exploited efficiently, the country has the potential of producing trillion-kilowatts of electricity. Photovoltaic power system, through direct conversion of solar irradiance into electricity, can be used as electrical power source for residential building, commercial building, industries, etc to meet its daily energy requirement.
